April Fools

Bah, humbug. I dislike April 1st. Having to sort through all the crappy jokes isn’t fun. This joke made me smile though.

Many have suggested over the years that WebKit should be abandoned in favor of Gecko, the browser engine with second-place market share according to studies like the Net Applications Survey. But why go with number two when you can go straight to the top? That’s why I am pleased to announce that WebKit will be discontinued in favor of Trident, the engine inside Windows Internet Explorer.

Edit: Here is another good one. I’m a huge dork for thinking these are funny and Microsoft is the butt of all good jokes.

Edit 2: Maybe April Fools day isn’t so bad after all. If this is a joke, I love it.
